Raise Funds for Your School with PJ's Backyard Adventures

PJ’s Backyard Adventures is an early reader adventure book about a boy who has magical adventures in his backyard that take him to places around the world.

Watch the video to see kids' beautiful reactions to the book. The daughters of teachers, the author and illustrator of PJ’s Backyard Adventures would like to say thank you to your school.

And as moms, we want to encourage early readers to want to read!

Schools who collect orders of PJ’s Backyard Adventures from parents (an order form is provided) will receive:

a) A check for 30% of the total order for your school b) A personalized note on each book ordered, customized per the order form c) A chance to win a visit from the author and illustrator for an educational event at no cost to the school

Children can experience PJ's Backyard Adventures in many ways:

  1. Color the illustrations

  2. Find a sight word hidden in each illustration

  3. Decorate their own pj’s, hat, and boots

  4. Draw their favorite place to play

  5. Draw and write about where their pj’s and imagination

  6. could take them

  7. Trace, then cut out flash cards for each sight word

  8. Sort the sight word flash cards in alphabetical order

  9. Cut out PJ from the back cover and take him on outdoor adventures
